Wow! bookAbout the work

The work displayed here falls into two categories:

The first (including The Artist, Elephant Surprise and Kimono) all evolved by first distorting one image (an illustration for an industrial video illustrating Rudyard Kipling's "The Elephant's Child"), and then distorting that image to create the next.

The remaining set evolved from distorting the cover from my first edition of The Illustrator Wow! Book-- starting with the Eye (see the Wow! in reversed turquoise if you look closely).

All are available as limited edition fine art prints in small format (printed on 100% cotton laser paper from the Canon Color Laser), or in large format on the Iris. Prices on request.
